Error description

psControlRows in the process MIB can generate spurious alarms
occasionally. This is because the last sample can  return with
a value of 0 for all plib metrics. This in turn generates
incorrect samples and alerts.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* The Process subagent can report incorrect values in the      *
* notifications generated by the psControlTable ( psException  *
* traps and informs ). This will happen with delta based       *
* metrics, eg CPU Percentage, when the process being monitored *
* terminates while the sample is being taken.  A common        *
* example of this is when monitoring the CPU Percentage, this  *
* will cause the value to become 100% and cause incorrect      *
* alerts to appear in monitoring systems.  This is more likely *
* to happen on systems when large numbers of processes are     *
* being monitored and they are routinely being terminated and  *
* created.                                                     *

* Upgrade to SSM 4.0.1.1 IF0001                                *
