WebSphere MQ Explorer requires installation of the WebSphere Eclipse Platform. On Windows you must install this separately (if it is not already installed) before running the MQ Explorer set-up process. On Linux it is installed as part of the set-up process (if it is not already installed). See the appropriate section below for more details.
You can install this SupportPac alongside an existing MQ Client installation.
You can also install this SupportPac alongside an existing MQ V7.0 server installation provided that both are at the same version level.

On Windows if you already have a version of this SupportPac installed, proceed with the installation as below and answer the prompt to automatically uninstall the existing version. On Linux you must first uninstall the existing version, selecting to uninstall the RPM packages for Eclipse and the JRE. For both platforms any MQ Explorer configuration settings will be retained.
