The SupportPac WA61 enables WebSphere MQ Workflow solutions to be monitored by IBM WebSphere Business Monitor V6.1.
This SupportPac provides a J2EE application that converts WebSphere MQ Workflow v3.6 SP6 audit events into a Common Base Event format (XSD) suitable for WebSphere Business Monitor v6.1.
It takes events from the WMQWF audit queue and publishes the converted event to the Common Event Infrastructure provided by WebSphere Application Server v6.1.
Recommended for all customers that want to use WebSphere MQ Workflow V3.6 (Service Pack 6, or higher) in conjunction with WebSphere Business Monitor 6.1.

To install and configure this SupportPac you should be familiar with WebSphere Application Server and with WebSphere MQ Workflow.

To install the SupportPac:
1. Copy wa61.zip to a temporary directory.
2. Uncompress using InfoZip's Unzip.
This will create the necessary files and sub-directories. If you use other unzip programs, ensure you specify the option to re-create stored directories.
3. You may delete wa61.zip.
4. Open the unzipped documentation of the SupportPac in <WA61>/doc/SupportPac_WA61_User_Guide.pdf using an appropriate PDF viewer and follow the installation instructions provided there

Category 3 WebSphere MQ SupportPacs are supplied under the standard terms and conditions provided by the International Program License Agreement (IPLA) and thus, carry program defect service for WebSphere MQ customers. Please read the IPLA and LI files that accompany the SupportPac, to ensure you understand the conditions under which the SupportPac is provided.
If you encounter what you believe to be a defect with the SupportPac, and you have a current license for a WebSphere MQ server product, you may request Program Services by reporting the problem via the same defect reporting channel you employ for the WebSphere MQ server product(s) on which you are using the SupportPac. No proof of entitlement is required to use this SupportPac.
Service is available for this SupportPac for as long as the WebSphere Workflow V3.6 server product is in service.
