This SupportPac provides capacity planning and setup/tuning information for WebSphere MQ for z/OS V7.0 and V6.0. It describes how to define performance critical queue manager and channel initiator environment parameters.
It also provides a variety of capacity planning information
Possible Uses
The SupportPac can be used to help the customer or IBM Systems Engineer to setup and tune and/or do capacity planning for WebSphere MQ for z/OS V7.0 or previous release system. It can also be used to gain an understanding of what factors affect performance.
Skill Level Required
Users of this SupportPac will require knowledge of WebSphere MQ for z/OS or a previous release.
