A discussion of the key factors which influence the performance of WebSphere Message Broker V6.1 message flows.
This SupportPac consists of a single document, which is a presentation (with notes). The document is a pdf of the presentation WebSphere Message Broker: Designing for Performance which was given at the Transaction and Messaging Conference in Barcelona, Spain in November 2008.
To provide guidance to message flow architects, message flow developers and those responsible for message broker configuration so that the performance of the broker and message flows running within it can be optimized through the use of best design and configuration practices.
Skill Level Required
A working knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker V6 or later. This should include a knowledge of the role and function of a message flow as well as Message Broker and Broker Queue Manager configuration. This SupportPac is aimed at an intermediate/advanced level of knowledge of Message Broker.
