This SupportPac contains a collection of programs and data that can be used to exercise the MQSeries for MVS/ESA Version 1.1.4 (or later) IMS Bridge. The driving system can be MVS/ESA or any Version 2
(or later) MQSeries platform (such as OS/2 and AIX).
POSSIBLE USES
The programs supplied in this package will be useful to anyone who is planning to use the MQSeries for MVS/ESA IMS Bridge function. They can be used to exercise the IMS Bridge throughout the testing phase of an implementation, and as the programs are supplied in source form, they could be useful as a starting point for production applications. It could also be useful as a training/familiarisation package for the IMS Bridge.
NEW IN THIS RELEASE
The following changes have been made in this release:
- removed superfluous EOF characters in certain modules that caused compile errors on MVS.

Prerequisites
A COBOL compiler and run-time environment must be available on MVS. A C compiler and run-time
environment must be available on whichever platform will be used as the driving system.
Installation Instructions
To install the SupportPac:
1.Download ma1c.zip to a temporary directory
2.Uncompress using InfoZip's Unzip If you use other unzip programs, ensure you specify the option to re-create stored directories.
3.This will create the necessary files and directories.
4.Follow the instructions in the readme file to complete installation.
