MA17: WebSphere MQ for z/OS - Message Handler Sample
SupportPac MA17 provides C and COBOL sample code for a message handling application for WebSphere MQ for z/OS
This SupportPac provides C and COBOL sample code for a message handling application for WebSphere MQ for z/OS. The program will allow users to view, forward and delete messages.
This SupportPac, when compiled, takes a queue and queue manager name via an ISPF panel, displays a list of messages on that queue and lets the user view, forward or delete individual messages . It will format the message headers and message text for greater readability. This allows an MQ administrator/operator easy access to all messages, providing many functions from one application. It may be used as a dead letter queue handler as the dead letter header is stripped when a message is forwarded.
New in this Release
Current headers are brought up to date and three more are added.
