PI52839: PACKAGE ERROR WITH V8.0 JMS/JAVA CODE

APAR status

• Closed as duplicate of another APAR.

Error description

• The Change team investigated and determined that the
  commons-net.jar was not intended to be shipped on MQ z/OS.
  It was incorrectly included in the tar file as a result of
  a build error.
  This APAR is to resolve the build error and remove the
  commons-net.jar from the tar file.

• Problem summary:
  
  The Java component of MQ on z/OS included several jar files
  which are not required when using the MQ classes for Java and
  MQ classes for JMS on z/OS.
  
  These jar files can cause problems for applications if their
  contents conflicts with classes used by the application.
  
  Problem resolution:
  
  The build process for the Java component of MQ has been
  modified to remove the unwanted jar files.
  
  This fix changes the Java component of MQ, and will be
  included in a FixPack APAR.
  
  The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
  
  Version Maintenance Level
  v8.0.0 - 8.0.0.5 (PI53058 on z/OS)
