APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Queue manager gets unresponsive and even control commands
get hung (amqrfdm, runmqsc, endmqm, amqrrmit, ...).
Pstate on primary channel server shows it in "rfxConnectCache".
Master repman shows in pstate outstanding I/O to the primary
channel server.
"endmqm -p" does not work!

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • Due to fix for IT25666, queue manager gets trap in deadlock
when a channel is deleted during the cluster cache maintenance,
when the primary channel server is not running onthe sameCPU
as the master repman.

Problem conclusion

  • Code was changed to avoid extended cluster cache lock in
this maintenance phase.

Temporary fix

  • Run primary channel server on CPU 0 together with master repman.
