APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • CSQUTIL SCOPY job got ABEND0C4 in IGG019FJ for some queues
(SYSTEM.CHANNEL.SYNCQ, SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE, and
user queue etc..) after migrating to v9.1. The SCOPY job to the
same queues was successful before the migration (at v8).
They confirmed that QMGR started normally and channels could
connect normally using the page set(which included these
queues) at v9.1.
There were old messages in the queue when they printed the
messages in the queues.

Local fix

  • Remove, or get/put the old messages which have IRH3 in the
queue.

Processing for CSQUTIL SCOPY from Version 910 and up was not
correct for very old messages on older queues put at previous
versions of MQ.

Problem conclusion

  • Processing for CSQUTIL SCOPY functionality has been corrected.
