Full screen system information display and much more.
Download Description
The TASID system monitor allows you to view system activity on a z/OS system. This includes information about active address spaces (batch jobs, started tasks, TSO users, and system tasks), ENQ activity and contention, initiator status on JES2 systems, and so on. Note that there are some options that might not behave consistently or operate correctly on every level of z/OS. All available documentation is contained in the help panels, which you can access by pressing the HELP function key when on any panel within TASID.
Prerequisites
TASID V5.18 is an ISPF application and requires a minimum level of ISPF for z/OS 1.8 to run.
To display LPAR information, data must be provided by RMF III or equivalent product.
Installation Instructions
TASID is packaged in two different versions:
- one version has the panels included with the load module
- one version has separate data sets for the panels and load modules
You can download whichever version you prefer.
Each package is contained in a self-extracting Zip file. To extract (unzip) the contents of the Zip file, double-click the .exe file and specify a temporary folder on your workstation.
Once you have unzipped the package, follow the installation instructions in the README file to install that version of TASID and invoke the program.
This tool is made available on an "as is" basis.
For problems with the install or questions on the program, contact ispf@au1.ibm.com.
