Error description
Unable to import table definition from Oracle RAC using Oracle CC to import. Here is the error message: "User must specify a RAC server name while connecting to RAC server"
Local fix
Workaround: use IMAM to import metadata from Oracle connector and use "Repository --> Metadata Sharing" option in Datastage to import the same into data stage.
Problem summary
Connector import wizard for Oracle CC fails with "user must specify a RAC name while connecting to RAC server"
Problem conclusion
Made the required code changes in Oracle connector to resolve the mentioned issue.
Temporary fix
"RAC server name" property is specifically added for IMAM. Importing metadata though IMAM is a suggested as compared to connector import wizard. For now, customer can use IMAM to import metadata from Oracle connector and use "Repository --> Metadata Sharing" option in Datastage to import the same into dastage. Or else, they can continue using ODBC CC to import metadata from Oracle DB.
