Fully supported version of lBM CICS Explorer is now available for CICS TS V3 and V4.1

Abstract

If you are a licensed user of CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) V3 or V4.1, you can now download and use the fully supported version of the IBM CICS Explorer. The latest version of the CICS Explorer contains many new enhancements in support of the new features of CICS TS V4.1, that became generally available on 26 June 2009.

With the general availability of CICS TS V4.1, and with it the CICS Explorer, IBM recommends that you use both the latest supported version of the CICS Explorer for your appropriate release of CICS TS, and, where applicable, the plug-in supplied with the latest version of the relevant CICS tool.

The CICS Explorer is neither shipped with CICS TS V4.1, nor available to order as a separate component with CICS TS V3.2. The CICS Explorer is only available from IBM by downloading it from the IBM CICS Explorer Downloads Web page. The CICS Explorer downloads are free, but you will be asked to register with ibm.com to receive the downloads.

IBM will be providing updates to the CICS Explorer on a regular basis. See information about the latest version of the CICS Explorer if you already have the CICS Explorer and want to update it to the latest version.
