Problem(Abstract)
You would like to know what problems you might encounter when you upgrade from one release of CICS or CICSPlex SM to another. You also want to know what problems you might encounter if you change to a new release of z/OS or DB2.
Resolving the problem
Select the appropriate link for the product you are installing to be taken to the corresponding table. Then click the search link to the right of the release of the product. APARs will not be included in the search results if they were cancelled.
You should also look at the Detailed System Requirements and the "Cross Product Dependencies" section in the PSP bucket of the product that you are upgrading.
The Support for z/OS Web page maintains a list of the minimum levels of IBM software products that run on z/OS. The table below contains a link for the upgrading search, as well as a link to the Planning for Installation manual for each z/OS release.
