Error description

• Even though the VERIFY command is executed, you still receive
  these error messages when you running a DFHCSDUP COPY GROUP
  or DELETE G command.

  BECAUSE OF A PREVIOUS UPDATE FAILURE.
  DFHCA5103 I ERROR(S) OCCURRED WHILE PROCESSING DELETE COMMAND.
  DFHCA5104 W SUBSEQUENT COMMANDS  (EXCEPT LIST) ARE NOT EXECUTED
  BECAUSE OF ERROR(S) ABOVE.

Local fix

• 1. COPY the group with a different name and change the
  corresponding LIST(s) to use the different name.
  2. Delete the Lock record that was added to the GROUP. Using
  DITT EDIT in ICCF, and was then able to DELETE the group by
  using DFHCSDUP. Creating a backup first before delete.
  

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DFHCSDUP VERIFY command does        *
  *                      not release retained internal locks.    *
  ****************************************************************
  In the reported problem the customer was running a DFHCSDUP
  COPY command between two DFHCSDs.The COPY command was failing
  with message msgDFHCA5142. Then a DFHCSDUP VERIFY command was
  issued, but this failed to report any problems.
  In this case the problem was a retained lock for a record on the
  DFHCSD, but the code in DFHDM09 procedure SKTYP was branching
  around the lock record logic which would have identified the
  retained lock.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHDM09 has been changed in procedure SKTYP to correctly
  execute the lock record logic.
