Abstract
New Function (NF) APAR PK81603 enables you to perform syncpointing when using an IP interconnectivity (IPIC) connection into CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) V3.2 from TXSeries for Multiplatform. PK81603 closed on 28 October 2009.

Most of the code being provided by this APAR is already in base CICS TS V4.1. However, one problem was found in testing PK81603 so CICS TS V4.1 APAR PK99511 was raised to add the extra code required for this problem. This APAR is currently targeted to close in March of 2010.
