Detailed System Requirements for CICS TS and related products

Abstract

From this document you can select the Detailed System Requirements (DSR) for supported releases of CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) and CICS TS for z/VSE. You can also follow the instructions provided to view DSRs for other products. DSRs are available through the Software Product Compatibility Reports (SPCR) web site. The requirements contain the supported operating system requirements, hardware requirements, software requirements, and other related information for a product.

Note that your entitlement to support, if any, is dependent upon your license or maintenance agreements for CICS and is limited to your use of this relevant prerequisite with a supported CICS product.

Under the "Supported Software" tab in the Detailed System Requirements of each CICS TS version, you will find the versions of the CICS Tools and many other products that are supported by that particular version of CICS TS.  If you click on the "Notes" or "Details" column for the tool, you will find things like the required APARs.
For other IBM products, you can do the following to request the Detailed Systems Requirements report:
  1. Go to the Software Product Compatibility report page
  2. Click on Create a report under "Detailed System Requirements" in the "In-depth reports" section
  3. Enter a "Full or partial product name" like "CICS Performance Analyzer" and click on the search icon
  4. Select the product from the search results
  5. Select the version from the drop down
  6. Click Submit
