Question
Now IBM® WebSphere® Portal Version 6.0.0.1 Enable and Extend edition customers can deploy the Workplace Web Content Management™ Version 6.0 JumpStart web sites. These intranet and extranet example web sites are easily customizable and accelerate the deployment of new portal sites. They also include list portlets make it easy to organize and access announcements, news, events, FAQ's and links.

This document shows you how to install and take advantage of the out of box example web sites in WebSphere Portal 6.0.0.1 Enable and Extend deployments.

 
Answer
Using the documentation and files provided below, you can integrate the example sites into your own deployed portal for customization and further development. Included are the step-by-step instructions, a package of interim fixes, and the actual files needed.

Note: WebSphere Portal version 6.0.0.1 must already be configured to use Workplace Web Content Management in order to take advantage of this opportunity. These files and accompanying fixes do require that you are running WebSphere Portal version 6.0.0.1 and have not been tested on other versions.
