Fix Available: Out Of Memory condition after installing Web Content Managment cumulative fix (CF) 22 through 27

CF22 (PK90801) includes a change to the way the first child content item is determined for rendering. When a site area contains a large number of content items (such as in the tens of thousands) all of these nodes can get loaded into the workspace, thus causing the very large strongworkspacestate object seen in the heaps.
This condition can cause an out of memory condition. If a javacore occurs, RenderContext.getFirstSiteAreaChild() is seen.
The only time the server will do this is if the request path is for the given SiteArea and that siteArea does not have a default content specified. In this case, WCM looks for the first content item in the siteArea the user has access to to use as the render context (content).
To avoid this, ensure that all SiteArea have a defined default content.
Workaround:
The issue will be less likely to occur if site areas have a default content item assigned.
Interim Fix Available:
An emergency fix for APAR PK97988 is available to address the issue. The change will also be included in an upcoming WCM cumulative fix.
