Problem
The Tivoli Storage Manager database creation fails with the ANR2678E and ANR0162W errors
Symptom
The Tivoli Storage Manager database creation fails with the following errors:
ANR2678E Server database format failed.
ANR0162W Supplemental database diagnostic information: -901:**No State Information Available (135)**:-901 (**No Other Information Available (216)**).Failed (sqlca.sqlcode = -901 ) to create database TSMDB1
Cause
Anti-Virus software stopping/interrupting the database format.
Resolving The Problem
Disable any Anti-Virus software running on the machine and re-try the initialization. You can re-enable the Anti-Virus afterwards.
