APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
Some device failure caused confusion in the internal APPN
indexes. In this scenario they were using alias names for local
location name (from QAPPNLCL configuration list) and remote
location name (from QAPPNRMT configuration list).
Resetting the remote location index, by removing and readding
the QAPPNRMT entry did not resolve the CPF4364 program session
start failure.
Code will be changed to automatically readd the local and remote
config information from the configuration list objects into the
internal APPN indexes as part of the RCLAPPN command for two
options, *ALL and *APPNALL.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA43807 :
-----------------------------
The RCLAPPN CL command for options *APPNALL and *ALL has been
updated to refresh the APPN Location Manager internal indexes
with the entries from the local (QAPPNLCL) and remote (QAPPNRMT)
configuration list objects.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA43807 :
--------------------------------
To manually refresh the local and remote configuration list
entries after running RCLAPPN  do the following:
Save the configuration lists (SAVCFG command) and restore them
(RSTCFG command) for both QAPPNLCL and QAPPNRMT.

Activation Instructions

None.

Special Instructions

The RCLAPPN CL command must not be running when this PTF is applied or
