Deploying an application that contains the Apache Axis2 runtime might create a class cast exception
|
| | | Problem(Abstract) | | If the Apache Axis2 run time is packaged as an application and the application is deployed to IBM® WebSphere® Application Server that has the Feature Pack for Web Services installed, an attempt to use this application creates a class cast exception. | | | | | | Cause | | The class cast exception message occurs because there is a conflict during class loading. The Apache Axis2 run time is part of the package for the Feature Pack for Web Services. | | | | | Resolving the problem | | To prevent the class cast exception message and to effectively use the Apache Axis2 run time, you must first change the configuration of the module that contains the Apache Axis2 run time to use the application class loader. You can make this change using the administrative console. For more information, see the "Configuring application class loaders" topic in the Information Center for the Feature Pack for Web Services. | | | | | | | | | |
