Problem
Getting a [DPR-ERR-2079 Firewall Security Rejection], when trying to modify packages in Framework Manager.
Symptom
DPR-ERR-2079 Firewall Security Rejection. Your request was rejected by the security firewall.
Cause
Framework Manager was configured with an incorrect Gateway URI.
Resolving The Problem
Configure Framework Manager to use the same Gateway URI as that which the Cognos 8 servers are using. This should be referencing a valid gateway server name rather than either localhost or an IP address.
Steps:1) - Open Cognos Configuration for the Framework Manager install.2) - Change the Gateway URI setting (under Environment) to use the correct server name of the gateway.
3) - Save Configuration
