VM18379: ISPP287 AND S13E ABEND USING FIELDS/TEMPLATE ON ISPF PANEL COMMAND LINE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ISPF message ISPP287 received, "Invalid LVLINE area name found
  while processing panel." when issuing either FIELDS or TEMPLATE
  commands from zSecure Admin panel command line.
  
  Viewing the session's SYSPRINT will also show abend S13E.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Manager for RACF z/VM           *
  *                      terminates with an ISPF dialog error    *
  *                      while processing FIELDS or TEMPLATE     *
  *                      primary command in interactive mode.    *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  If the FIELDS or the TEMPLATE primary command is entered at the
  command prompt in interactive mode, then zSecure Manager for
  RACF z/VM terminated, displaying an ISPF dialog error panel
  which contains following text:
    PANEL '' ERROR
    INVALID  "LVLINE" AREA NAME FOUND WHILE PROCESSING PANEL
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Manager for RACF z/VM has been modified so it does not
  terminate while processing FIELDS or TEMPLATE primary command.
