OA64718: SPECFYING "M" TO EMAIL REPORT ON RESULTS SCREEN, TRUNCATES ATTACHMENT SENT.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is running the following CARLa (in CO.2), and
  generating a report that extends out to column 301.  Browsing
  the output on the results screen shows the entire output, but
  when "M" is placed to email the output as an attachment, the
  generated email truncates the columns somewhere past the
  ABS_PATHNAME(255)
  

Local fix

• Run CARLa in batch, with OPTION settings for email.

  When a report generated by zSecure Admin/Audit contains long
  lines, the report mailing function provided by the 'RESULTS'
  screen (ISPF panel CKRP3RES, action character 'M' (E-mail
  report), truncates these lines after 255 characters, so that the
  report arrives incomplete at the e-mail destination.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Audit/Admin has been modified, so that the report
  mailing function provided by the 'RESULTS' screen does not
  truncate long lines after 255 characters anymore.
