  • Empty daily consolidation file on LPARs with few resources.

This occurs when the Access Monitor daily consolidation process
occurs before the rename of the temporary collection dataset has
completed.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When insufficient processor resources   *
*                      are available to the z/OS system,       *
*                      automatic daily consolidation by        *
*                      the zSecure Access Monitor started task *
*                      might create an empty daily             *
*                      consolidation file.                     *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
****************************************************************
The automatic consolidation might result in an empty
consolidation file.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • zSecure Access Monitor has been modified such that the automatic
daily consolidation process is delayed until the required input
files are available.
