• CKF0987 04 Syntax error: field name expected instead of dsname
  at ".),".
  
  Seen when an LPALSTxx PARMLIB member contains an entry with
  format:
  
  data-set-name(volser)
  
  and the volser is represented by a system symbol, for example:
  
  CONSUL.CQT250.GA.SCQTLPA(&SYSR2.),

  When zSecure Collect processes PROGxx/LPALSTxx/LNKLSTxx system
  configuration members, it might issue a MSGCKF0987 which begins
  with the text "Syntax error..." in cases where a DSN
  specification found in these members contain MEMBER/VOLUME
  specification with system symbols terminated by a dot. The
  program issues a MSGCKF988 which begins with the text
  "Syntax error..." in cases where a 'LPA ADD' statement is
  present in the PROGxx system configuration member and the
  MODNAME argument for that statement specifies multiple modules.
  Similar messages (MSGCKR0987/MSGCKR0988) are issued by zSecure
  Admin/Audit while using a CKFREEZE which was created by zSecure
  Collect run with error messages mentioned earlier.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Admin/Audit and Collect have been modified so that the
  reported issues are resolved.
