OA63716: CKR0988 12 SYNTAX ERROR WHEN SELECTING ALL OPTIONS ON THE ZERT SELECTION PANELS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CKR0988 12 Syntax error when selecting all options on the zERT
  selection panels.
  
  When using EV.I - > Further IP selection -> zERT -> then
  selecting all options on subsequent panels CKRP3EIH, CKRP3EII,
  CKRP3EIJ and CKRP3EIK a syntax error is seen:
  
  CKR0988 12 Syntax error: "`" expected instead of word at
  "response, Contro" on CKRCMDV2 line 67
  CKR0983 12 Expecting primary command list separator/terminator
  instead of word "response, Contro" at CKRCMDV2 line 67
  CKR0000 12 CKRCARLA terminated due to input errors
  
  
  In addtion, zERT filtering on TLSv1.1 only does not work
  correctly.
  

Local fix

• Do not select anything on the zERT selection panels if you want
  to see everything without any filtering.

  If large numbers of specific event types on the zERT selection
  panels are selected, zSecure Admin/Audit incorrectly issues
  syntax error message MSGCKR0988. zERT filtering on TLSv1.1
  might fail.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Admin/Audit has been modified, so that the zERT
  selection panel and zERT filtering on TLSv1.1 work correctly.
