APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• CKR0286 messages issued for SENSDSN reporting.
  
  However, for the cluster components reported, VVDS and VTOC
  entries exist.
  

Local fix

• Add SUPPRESS VSAM_SHORTCUT to the CARLa code being executed. If
  using the UI, this can be achieved via SETUP PREAMBLE (SE.3).
  

Problem summary

  *                 type SENSDSN).                               *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Audit might issue a false       *
  *                      MSGCKR0286 while processing the SENSDSN *
  *                      report.                                 *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  When zSecure Audit processes the SENSDSN report, it might issue
  a false MSGCKR0286 which begins with the text "No VTOC and no
  VVDS entry for cluster component ..." for VSAM cluster  having
  "HFS", "ZFS", or ".USR.LPP." symbol sequences in their names.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Audit has been modified so that no MSGCKR0286 is issued
  (when not applicable) for VSAM cluster  having "HFS", "ZFS", or
  ".USR.LPP." symbol sequences in their names.
