• CKX216E IXGWRITE Failed, RC=00000008-00000806
  
  This error can be seen when data loss has occurred within the
  logstream that CKXLOG uses, most likely due to a system or
  coupling facility failure.
  

Local fix

• Offload the LOGSTREAM to a DASD dataset, delete and define the
  logstream.

  When the CKXLOG started task can connect to the logstream, but
  receives a warning condition, later attempts to record commands
  to the logstream, MSGCKX216E are issued starting with the text
  "IXGWRITE Failed, RC=..." and logstream data is lost.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Admin Command Logger has been modified so that it
  recovers from warning conditions during connection to the
  logstream and performs proper recovery. Please review the
  documentation updates as provided by the APAR tracking comment
  data.
