Installation Information

This section contains changes to the product's Program Directory. The following action(s) are required if you install PTFs from the SERVICE RECOMMENDATIONS section of this SUBSET: 4. 06/11/17 -------------------------------------------------------------- *** Action: UK19656 The Global and Local Catalogs will need to be deleted, redefined and initialized to allow the changes, introduced by this PTF, to be effective. APPLICABLE LEVEL: B0P 3. 05/08/29 ITEM DELETED 09/29/2005 2. 03/11/21 ------------------------------------------------------------------ *** Action: UQ82178 This PTF affects DFHIRP which must reside in the SVA. After this PTF is applied, DFHIRP must be re-loaded into the SVA before the changes in this PTF will take effect. NOTE:- If more than one release of CICS is installed on this system, the DFHIRP which is loaded into the SVA must be the DFHIRP from the highest CICS release. Please refer to the CICS TRANSACTION SERVER FOR VSE/ESA SYSTEM DEFINITION GUIDE for advice on loading CICS modules into the SVA. APPLICABLE LEVEL: B0P 1. 03/08/19 ----------------------------------------------------------------- *** Action: UQ75840 This fix changes macro DFHWBTLG, the BMS map to HTML template generator. In order to benefit from the change to the macro, you should rerun the assembly step that specifies SYSPARM(TEMPLATE), to regenerate your HTML templates from the BMS map source. *** Action: UQ75840 This APAR includes the facility to send templates generated from BMS maps which are larger than 32k. When using this facility, the temporary storage queue specified in the TCPIPSERVICE definition, or defaulted to DFHWEB, must not be recoverable. ---------------- ABOVE COMMENT ADDED BY PQ69381 -------------- *** Action: UQ75840 TO MAKE THE CHANGES IMPLEMENTED BY THIS APAR EFFECTIVE, THE US WILL NEED TO RUN A DFHCSDUP UPGRADE USING(DFHCURDM). *** Action: UQ75840 This fix changes DFHMDF, the BMS map field definition macro. In order to benefit from the change to the macro, you should rerun the assembly step that specifies SYSPARM(TEMPLATE), to regenerate your HTML templates from the BMS map source. ---------------- ABOVE COMMENT ADDED BY PQ48401 -------------- *** Action: UQ75840 This fix changes macro DFHWBTLG, the BMS map to HTML template generator. In order to benefit from the change to the macro, you should rerun the assembly step that specifies SYSPARM(TEMPLATE), to regenerate your HTML templates from the BMS map source. ---------------- ABOVE COMMENT ADDED BY PQ50151 -------------- *** Action: UQ75840 This PTF allows BMS applications to modify field attributes dynamically in the application program. In order to take advantage of this feature, it is necessary to regenerate all HTML templates that have been created from BMS maps. When the templates are recreated, the HTML table cells containing fields from the BMS map will no longer contain HTML The values will have been replaced by 3 symbols. The symbol names consist of a common prefix in the form Frrcccllll_ where the 'F' and the underscore (_) are constants, 'rr' is a 2 digit number representing the row, 'ccc' is a 3 digit number representing the column and 'llll' is a 4 digit number representing the length of the field. Two of the symbols will end in the strings PRE and SUF respectively and the third symbol will contain as much of the BMS field name as can fit into 21 characters. Any manual customization which was applied to the original template will need to be re-applied. ---------------- ABOVE COMMENT ADDED BY PQ60964 -------------- *** Action: UQ75840 The Global and Local Catalogs will need to be deleted, redefined and initialized to allow the changes, introduced by this PTF, to be effective. *** Action: UQ75840 After applying this PTF, module DFHXFP will automatically be loaded on every CICS startup. Before this PTF, DFHXFP was only ever loaded if ISC=YES was coded in the the SIT. DFHXFP is approximately 24K in length and is loaded into the CICS DSA below 16M. If your CICS DSA is constrained below 16M, you should consider increasing the value on your DSALIM SIT parameter in those regions which have ISC=NO in the SIT. ---------------- ABOVE COMMENT ADDED BY PQ66744 -------------- APPLICABLE LEVEL: B0P
