General Information

This section contains general information, i.e. SYSGEN hints/tips. 1. 05/11/08 CTGMENV, the sample environment file for ctgmaster, should include a PATH definition for the product bin directory (/usr/lpp/cicstg/<...>/bin). This is for the case where ctgmaster is started under CTGBATCH, when the CTGRRMS services address space is not already active (e.g after an IPL, or after the CTGRRMS address space has been stopped manually with the ctgasi utility). The error that will come out in these circumstances if the product bin directory is not in the PATH is: CTG8953E ctgmaster initialization has failed to initialize RRMS PC services with rc=1002 the trace will show: CTG8655E Spawn of ctgasi failed with errno=157, errno2=186319987
