Troubleshooting


Problem

This technote identifies a defect where viewing the IBM® Rational® ClearCase® MVFS log from the ClearCase Administration Console on Microsoft® Windows® reveals the time date stamp as []Wednesday, December 31, 1969 07:00:00 PM[] and provides instructions to resolve the issue.

Cause

Viewing the MVFS logs from the ClearCase Administration Console shows the Date / Time stamp on the logs as Wednesday, December 31, 1969 07:00:00 PM:




This issue has been reported as defect RATLC00740916.

Resolving The Problem

This defect has been resolved in the following patch and later:

Apply clearcase_p2003.06.15.NT-2005D or later to resolve this issue.


WORKAROUND:

Run the command cleartool getlog mvfs from the command line to obtain the MVFS logs on the host.
