    ****************************************************************
    Program DSNTRIN is called by job DSNTIJRT to install and
    configure DB2-supplied routines (stored procedures and UDFs).

    Currently, DSNTRIN processes the SYSPROC.ADMIN_INFO_SQL stored
    procedure during conversion mode only if migration was from V9;
    It bypasses processing of ADMIN_INFO_SQL during conversion mode
    if migration was from V8. This is because ADMIN_INFO_SQL was
    introduced in V9. However, ADMIN_INFO_SQL needs to be available
    in all modes of DB2 V10 so that it can be used to capture
    information about DB2 and its environment when recreating and
    troubleshooting problems.

Problem conclusion

  • In response, DSNTRIN is modified to process the ADMIN_INFO_SQL
    stored procedure during conversion mode, regardless of whether
    migration was from V8 or V9.
