Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All SA z/OS V3R5 and V4R1 customers.         *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: see description below... *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    SA 3.5 and SA 4.1:
    o The *GDPS add-on policy has been enhanced to add auto
    operators GEOXRA15-GEOXRA20 and GEOXRQ15-GEOXRQ20 to AOP
    GDPS_XRC_AUTOOPS.
    o When appropriate, specify RNL=NO to avoid having the request
    incorrectly altered by the GRS or alternate serialization
    product RNL processing.
    o Several Customization Dialog help panels have been enhanced
    to avoid an ISPF Dialog Error when trying to enter 'F' for
    'Find' in the panel's Command line. The same error can happen
    when any other character is typed in, followed by the ENTER key.
    o Enhance RESYNC SDF processing to also clear all ProcOps
    components.
    o Enhance message receiving in SDF. When SDF processes tree and
    panel definitions it issues a message for every INCLUDE member
    that cannot be found. The message is now returned to the user
    who caused SDF to process the definitions.
    o Several SA panels have been enhanced to display as much
    information as the panel size in use allows for. Also, where
    appropriate, the panel header now shows the SAplex name instead
    of the physical sysplex name.
    o Help panels ING#$QRY and ING#QRY have been enhanced to clarify
    where parent information is derived from.

    SA 4.1:
    o INGCLEAN was modified to enforce RESYNC SDF to also delete
    data in SDF and to accept input parameters when called as an
    environment exit.
    o Enhance CICS Automation Message Exit debugging.
    o Enhance INGSTR command and INGSTR display with structure type
    information.
    o Help panels ING#$QRY and ING#QRY have been enhanced with the
    SUSPEND attribute.
