Is IBM Lotus Symphony Supported on Citrix XenApp Platforms?
Is IBM Lotus Symphony Products (namely, Lotus Presentations, Lotus Documents or Lotus Spreadsheets) supported on Citrix XenApp Platforms?
Yes, starting in Lotus Notes 8.5, IBM Lotus Symphony (version 1.2) is fully support on Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp platforms. In addition, starting in 8.5.1, multi-user installations are supported on the Citrix platform, and this configuration is recommended if IBM Lotus Symphony is installed, but is not required.
For embedded Symphony (inside Lotus Notes):
Citrix XenApp 4.5 - Windows 2003 64 bit is not supported with Embedded Symphony
Citrix XenApp 4.5 or later - Windows 2003 32 bit is supported with Embedded Symphony
For stand alone Symphony 3 (separate install outside of Lotus Notes):
Citrix XenApp 4.5 or later

In earlier builds of Lotus Notes 8.x, Lotus Symphony would not launch on the Citrix XenApp platform, primarily due to the single user installation configuration, and the inability to launch multiple instances of Lotus Symphony on one machine. These issues have been addressed in Lotus Symphony 1.2, which is included in Lotus Notes 8.5.
