Cannot export spreadsheet that contains more than 65536 rows

Technote (FAQ)

Question

In Lotus Notes®, you are unable to export a Lotus Spreadsheets document to .pdf format when the table contains more than 65,536 rows. The application becomes unresponsive while consuming CPU utilization. When the operation is finally complete, a 0 (zero)-byte .pdf file is created that contains no content.

Answer

This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# QGPG6UXBTM and a fix is being considered for a future release of the product.

To work around the limit of 65,536 rows of data in a Lotus Spreadsheets document that you want to convert to .pdf format:

1. Insert additional sheets to the spreadsheet file (Create --> Sheet).

2. Save your spreadsheet in .pdf format (File --> Export as PDF).
