How to Change Bullet Style in the Word Processing Document Editor

Question

You are using the IBM® document editors to create or edit a word processing document. How do you change the bullet style? The default bullet style displays as a black circle with the number 10 inside it. You want the bullet to appear as a plain black circle.

Answer

To change the bullet style for a paragraph in a word processing document, use the following steps:

  1. Click anywhere in the paragraph whose bullet style you wish to change.
  2. Right-click and select "Numbering/Bullets" from the menu (or select Layouts -> Numbering/Bullets from the main menu.)
  3. Select the bullet style you wish to use and click OK.
