Where can I manage my ILOG or IBM ILOG definitive license keys?
If you were a customer of ILOG prior to its acquisition, all your licenses with active maintenance have been migrated to the IBM WebSphere License Key Center.
I already have a License Key Center password:
Log into the IBM WebSphere License Key Center using your email address and the password you were sent:
I don't have a License Key Center password:
If you are the primary contact of your organization, you should have received an email with instructions on how to log into this site. If you can't locate this email, please try the Forgot your password? (link resides outside of IBM.com) or Don't have a password? (link resides outside of IBM.com) links.
To request a License Key Center password, you will need to supply your IBM Site Number and your IBM Sales Order number or IBM Customer Number. You can find this information on the IBM Proof of Entitlement certificate IBM issued at the time of your order or on the Welcome Letter that IBM issued to your organization's primary contact at the time of migrating entitlement for any existing ILOG licenses with active maintenance to IBM systems.
All my maintenance contracts have expired or I am unsure about my license entitlement
For customers of ILOG prior to its acquisition, only product licenses covered by an active maintenance contract as of 1 January 2009 were migrated to IBM systems. If all your licenses purchased from ILOG prior to its acquisition have expired maintenance contracts, your organization did not receive an IBM Site Number or an IBM Customer Number.
If you require assistance with older ILOG products not covered by an active maintenance contract, please contact your IBM ILOG sales representative or send an email to license@fr.ibm.com. If necessary, your IBM ILOG sales representative may place you in contact with a sales administration team that will verify your entitlement and further assist.
I cannot locate my Proof of Entitlement certificate or Welcome Letter
If you are having issues locating the IBM Site ID information you need to access the IBM WebSphere License Key Center, please contact the eCustomer Care Team or your IBM ILOG sales representative. If necessary, your IBM ILOG sales representative may place you in contact with a sales administration team that will verify your entitlement and further assist.
Where can I obtain a replacement key for a back-level version?
We now offer a new and simple approach to transfer platforms or replace your keys through "Replacement Keys". Replacement Keys are available for most back-level versions of IBM ILOG software on the IBM WebSphere License Key Center, by following the "Replacement Keys" link in the "Getting Help" section of the left menu.

Frequently asked questions about IBM licensing and support processes
Q: Which ILOG or IBM ILOG products require license keys?
A: Current version of IBM ILOG JRules and IBM ILOG Supply Chain Management products do not require keys. Older ILOG versions of these products do require license keys. All versions of IBM ILOG Optimization and IBM ILOG Visualization Products require license keys. You can obtain and manage keys for both current and previous versions of these products using the IBM WebSphere License Key Center.
Q: Where can I get detailed information on product downloads?
A: The Product Downloads technote provides valuable information on how to download installers and fixes for current and legacy ILOG products.
Q: Where do I find my IBM Site Number?
A: You can find your site number on the IBM Proof of Entitlement certificate IBM issued at the time of your order or on the Welcome Letter that IBM sent to your organization's primary contact at the time of migrating your entitlement to IBM systems. The IBM Site Number is some times labeled as "Software Site Number."
The IBM site number will begin with three zeros followed by seven digit string e.g. "0007654321". Your Proof of Entitlement Certificate may only show the seven digit string, therefore, make sure to enter the first three zeros before the seven digit site number.
Q: Where do I find my Sales Order Number?
A: For purchases originally made through IBM, you can find your Sales Order number (or IBM order reference number) on the IBM Proof of Entitlement certificate that IBM sent to your organization's primary contact at the time of your order. The order number is typically a 10 digit string starting with two zeros e.g. 005123456789. Make sure to enter the first two zeros.
Q: Where do I find my IBM Customer Number (ICN)?
A: You can find your IBM Customer Number on the IBM Proof of Entitlement certificate or on the Welcome Letter that IBM sent to your organization's primary contact at the time of migrating your entitlement to IBM systems.
Your ICN is typically a 7-digit code (made up of numbers and/or letters) that identifies your organization. Some customers might receive ICNs with six or eight digits.
Q: Where do I locate my Proof of Entitlement certificate or Welcome Letter?
A: Your organization should have received a Proof of Entitlement certificate or Welcome Letter if your organization owns one or more maintenance contracts active on or after 1 January 2009. If all your licenses purchased from ILOG prior to its acquisition have expired maintenance contracts, your organization will not have received an IBM Site Number or an IBM Customer Number.
If you are having issues locating the information you need to access the IBM Software and Service download sites or the WebSphere License Key Center, please contact the eCustomer Care Team or your IBM ILOG sales representative
Q: What if I do not know my organization's primary contact?
A: If you are unable to identify your organization's primary contact, please contact the eCustomer Care Team or your IBM ILOG sales representative for assistance.
Q: What do I do if the License Key Center does not list all my licenses or I think my on-line entitlement is not accurate?
For customers of ILOG prior to its acquisition, only product licenses covered by an active maintenance contract as of 1 January 2009 were migrated to IBM systems. Keys for products with expired maintenance contracts will be added to the IBM WebSphere License Key Center before the end of March 2010. If you require further information, please send an email to license@fr.ibm.com.
