Monitoring user interfaces for Java™, C++, and the Adobe® Flex® platform
Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and human-machine interfaces (HMI) are used to show the current status of physical equipment, such as machines, tanks, or transport pipes. When the equipment data changes, the corresponding screen elements are updated to reflect the current status, often as a color or shape change. These displays enable users to monitor their equipment processes, helping to ensure smoother operations.
These industrial process control displays are highly customized, with custom graphics to match the underlying equipment. The screens must update in real-time and may also have custom user interactions, depending on operational needs.
