About this course
This Web-based training course will give you a brief overview of business processes using the WebSphere Process Choreographer in WebSphere Application Server Enterprise Version 5.

This course is divided into six parts or modules, the first of which is this introduction. This introductory module describes this Web-based training experience and helps you select the modules you wish to complete.

- Describe microflows compared macroflows.
- Describe the WebSphere Studio Application Developer Integration Edition (WSAD IE).
- Introduce Web Services.
- Identify the Web Services Description Language (WSDL) Concepts.
- Introduce Web Services Invocation Framework Toolkit (WSIF).
- Identify the WebSphere Application Server Programming Model Extensions (PMEs).
- Describe where process technology is used.
- Describe how business processes are developed.
- Identify which constructs and features are supported by processes.
- Examine how the process container is architected.
Prerequisites
- Before taking this course, you should have knowledge of the WebSphere Application Tool and WebSphere Application Server V5.
Duration
The time required to complete the course depends upon your reading speed, and how many units you complete. Each lecture typically takes thirty to fifty minutes to read.
