About this course
The purpose of this course is to give an overview of WebSphere Portal V5 in a high-level format while introducing concepts and terms relevant to portals. In addition, it will cover introductory administration concepts and procedures, such as logging into the portal, getting help, moving portlets on a page, adding portlets and placing them on pages, and so on.
IBM's WebSphere Portal solution provides a single point of interaction with dynamic information, applications, processes and people to help build business-to-employee (B2E), business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) portals. This course offers an introduction to WebSphere Portal and is the prerequisite to all WebSphere Portal education courses in this series.
