About this course
This Web-based training course is a follow-on to course SW701: IBM WebSphere Commerce V5.6 Business Management I. It introduces modules on tasks specific to Business Edition.
This course teaches line of business users of WebSphere Commerce V5.6 systems how to use WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to manage their store. It covers the additional functionality provided in Business Edition for managing the Advanced B2B Direct, Hosting, Demand Chain and Supply Chain business models, including accounts and contracts, request for quote, approvals, collaborative workspaces, and hub management tasks. This course follows on from SW701 and it is assumed that the student has completed the modules from SW701 that are relevant to their business role.

This course is intended for line of business users of WebSphere Commerce V5.6 systems. These users are non-technical, but should be familiar with their own role and business processes.
Objectives
After completing this course, students should be able to:
- Describe advanced B2B features (accounts, contracts and RFQs) and related functions in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Perform advanced B2B tasks.
- Describe hub management features and related functions in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator for the Hosting, Demand Chain and Supply Chain business models.
- Perform hub management tasks.
- Describe consideration for managing asset stores in the Hosting, Demand Chain and Supply Chain business models.

- Experience using a Web browser
- Familiarity with the student's own role and business processes
Duration
This self-paced Web-delivered course is divided into two modules, each of which contains a lecture in the form of an independent reading, one or more demonstrations that simulate using IBM WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, and a quiz for self-assessment. You can select only the module that relates to the specific tasks that are important to you. The course should take approximately 3 hours to complete.
One benefit of a self-paced course is that you can take it a portion at a time. Allocating some time each day for a week may be more a effective approach to completing this course than setting aside an entire day.
