This 5-day instructor-led course introduces developers to IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules modules, and teaches the concepts, architecture, components, processes, and procedures necessary to develop and implement an integrated business rule solution using IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules V7.0.

A realistic case study is used throughout this course to illustrate the concepts of business modeling, rule discovery, and rule authoring. Students work with actual business models, use cases, and business rules to perform discovery and analysis tasks, and to experience some of the questions and issues that arise when striving to author rules that reflect complex business decisions. Practical rule authoring exercises are carried out in the JRules Rule Studio and Rule Team Server modules.

This 3-day instructor-led course introduces business analysts to IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules Business Rule Management System (BRMS), and teaches the concepts and skills necessary to capture, author, and manage business rules using IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules V7.0.

This 2-day instructor-led course introduces policy managers and other business users to IBM WebSphere ILOG Rule Team Server V7.0. Students learn the core features of IBM WebSphere ILOG Rule Team Server V7.0 and how to perform rule authoring tasks, including: updates to existing business rules to reflect changes in business policy; creation of new business rules, using building blocks and vocabulary from the underlying business object model (BOM); and creation and update of decision tables.

In this course, you will learn the core features of IBM WebSphere ILOG Rules for .NET V7.0 and how to perform basic tasks, including: setting up a business rule application on the .NET platform; authoring, debugging, and reviewing the business rule artifacts required to implement enterprise business policies; integrating the developed business rule artifacts within an enterprise environment. You also learn how to set up the rule authoring environment for business users, monitor and manage rule execution, manage the rule life cycle, and control how business rule artifacts are executed.
