  Build the foundation for the Business Integration Server technical curriculum. Examine the architecture, components, processes, and procedures involved in implementing an integrated solution. Learn how to design, develop, and test the integration of a business process between three disparate applications.

• BI103: WebSphere Business Integration Server-InterChange Server Deployment Workshop

  The objective of this week is to independently solve tasks that typically occur in a WebSphere Business Integration implementation project. Examples of such tasks are: interviewing the client (client role played by trainer), working through technical scope and design sessions, and understanding some of the options used to solve implementation issues.

• BI104: WebSphere BI Server - Introducing InterChange Server and Toolset

  Combine an overview of the WebSphere Business Integration architecture with hands-on experience with the toolset. Come away knowing the architecture of the product and understand the capabilities of the toolset that are used to configure complex integration solutions.

• BI107: WebSphere Business Integration Server - Performance on the InterChange Server

  Gain hands-on experience with capacity planning, performance tuning, and memory management on the WebSphere Business Integration InterChange Server.

• BI108: WBI Server - Advanced Topics on InterChange Server

  Learn about WebSphere Business Integration Integrated Test Environment, Web Services adapter, adapter agent restart with MQ triggering, sending e-mail using the e-mail adapter, remote agent, role-based access control, Java Message Service (JMS) end-to-end security, access framework, Web-based system monitor, Web-based failed event manager, and performance.

• BI109: WebSphere Business Integration - ICS System Administration

  Learn the basics of the InterChange Server (ICS) architecture, the system capabilities, and the function of the components that make up an integration solution. Explore the tools used by system implementers to build interfaces to understand more deeply the system setup, and also work with an active solution. From this point, learn how to monitor and manage the ICS using the provided tools and understand why flows may fail and how the ICS handles failure.

• BI140: WebSphere BI Toolset - Advanced Mapping

  Examine basic business rules, such as those related to reformatting data parsing values, padding characters for legacy integration, and manipulating business object verbs. Intermediate topics include polymorphic mapping and managing transformations between applications that have varying degree of normalization in the design of their data structures. Advanced topics include encapsulating logic in custom classes for simplified deployment and maintenance and building a collaboration template that calls a map.

• BI141: WebSphere BI Toolset - Advanced Cross-Referencing

  Explore static lookups, foreign key cross referencing, and complex child level cross referencing in-depth. Work with cross-referencing methods for dealing with data that is stored as different values in disparate applications.

• BI147: WebSphere Business Integration Toolset - Collaboration Development

  Learn how to use the Process Designer tool to build new collaboration templates and modify existing collaboration templates. During class exercises, demonstrate the importance of analysis and design phases, followed by configuration and testing of collaborations.

• BI173: WBI - InterChange Server 4.2 & 4.2.2 Delta Workshop

  Along with the changes to the tools, the following features will be covered: Integrated Test Environment, JMS Queues, Hierarchical Adapter properties, Remote agents, Long Lived Business Processes, Persistent Monitoring, Web-based monitoring, collaboration debugger, business object probes, MQ triggering, flow monitoring and the new Web services adapter.

• BI815: InterChange Server Core Technology (SELF-PACED VIRTUAL CLASS)
