Installation options
Download and unpack a compressed file containing the Installation Manager appropriate for your operating system from here. You can then install Installation Manager on your local system and use it to import WebSphere Application Server V7 as well as to install the feature pack from the Web-based repositories. For additional installation information, see the related feature pack Information Center.
Whenever possible, you should use the remote Web-based repositories included in this option so that you are accessing the most up-to-date WebSphere Application Server base-product import and feature pack installation files.
Local Repository: Download files for both the IBM Installation Manager and the WebSphere Application Server V7 Feature Pack for OSGi Applications and Java Persistence API 2.0and use local installation
Download the compressed file containing the base-product importation and feature pack product repositories from here.
You can then install Installation Manager on your local system and use it to import WebSphere Application Server V7 as well as to install the feature pack from the unpacked local product repositories. For additional installation information, see the related feature pack Information Center.
