IBM Information On Demand EMEA Conference Website

The IBM IOD 2010 event will take place at the Marriott Park Hotel and Conference Centre located on the ring road outside the city centre of Rome and a short distance from the airport. Due to the location of the conference centre we do recommend that delegates choose one of the hotels around the area (please see list below).

As Rome Fiumicino airport has a complicated traffic layout, IBM will not be providing arrival shuttles to the Rome Marriott Park Hotel. Taxis are available (€35 approximately one way). There is also a Hotel Shuttle Bus (€10 one way) which runs approximately every 30 minutes.

From Wednesday, 19 May there will be daily bus shuttles from the hotels listed below to the Rome Marriott Park Hotel, also for the social events and a return service to Fiumicino airport on the afternoon of Friday, 21 May. See the Travel Page for the full transport schedule.

Cancellation policy:

By making a reservation with the IBM IOD Registration Team you expressly agree that, in the event of a cancellation or partial reduction of your hotel reservation after close of business (17:00 hrs GMT) on Friday 16th April 2010 or a no show on the reservation date, your credit card will be charged from a minimum one night stay to a maximum of the full stay should the room not be resold.
