IBM has secured preferential rates and room blocks at a number of hotels in Berlin. When you register for the event, through the event registration page, you can book your hotel room to arrive anytime from Monday, 1 June to departure on Saturday, 6 June, as part of the registration process. Your hotel reservation will be managed by the Registration Team, who will liaise directly with your selected hotel.

If you wish to stay for any additional nights outside of these dates please contact the IBM Registration Team. Also, please note that the hotel rates may vary for any additional nights outside the core contracted conference nights of 2 – 4 June 2009.

Cancellations after 1st May will be subject to the hotel cancellation policy and you may be liable for the full cost of your stay.

We recommend that you register and collect your Conference pack from the registration area at the Estrel, from 10.00 until 20.00 on Tuesday, 2 June 2009 so that you are ready for the start of the main Conference at 09.00 on Wednesday, 3 June 2009. (Please note that the Business Partner Programme commences with lunch at 13.00 on Tuesday, 2 June 2009)

As Berlin has 2 major airports with complicated traffic layouts, IBM will not be providing arrival shuttles to the Estrel and hotels. Taxis are available from both airports.

However, on Tuesday, 2 June IBM will be providing bus shuttles from the hotels to the Estrel commencing at 11.30. From Wednesday, 3 June there will be daily bus shuttles from the hotels to the Estrel, for the social events and a return service to Tegel and Schoenfeld airports on the afternoon of Friday, 5 June.
