Usability Labs
Join the IBM developers in the Usability Labs. Here you can get exclusive access to the latest IBM developments. Only at the IOD EMEA Conference can you gain insight into the future of our IT industry while providing IBM with valuable feedback on product usability and the functionality that matter most to you. Usability experts will lead a variety of interactive events, including test-driving prototypes, small-group design reviews and feedback sessions, and opportunities to vote on user requirements and prioritise them.
Topics range from general issues such as the future of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and autonomic computing, to prototypes and glimpses of early code for new products in development. Some of these early hands-on test drive opportunities include products in Information Integration, Master Data Management, Enterprise Content Management, Discovery (search), Data Management, and application development tools and technologies. Experts in all these areas will be able to talk to you about future product developments and how your ideas and concerns can help shape IBM's direction.
Sessions will run throughout the Conference, and many of them will be repeated when there is high interest in a topic or test-drive experience. When you sign up to attend the Usability Labs you're sure to find several activities and topics that will pique your interest. You'll find good company and a welcome atmosphere to share your ideas, your challenges, and your wishes for future product enhancements.
Please note that the number of participants for these sessions is limited, so enrolment is required. To review the lab sessions that will be available and reserve your seat go to Full Agenda & Session Enrolment. As you will understand the Usability Labs have a confidential nature, therefore, we will ask all participants to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
