IBM is committed to open standards and open source design and development. We assessed open source toolkits when we started with Rich Internet Applications (RIAs), and we chose the Dojo Toolkit to use in our products. IBM has regularly contributed design and development to Dojo's Dijit widget set, the core APIs, the overall performance, and globalization and accessibility. As a result, Dojo is a solid open source toolkit and the only one that is fully globalized and accessible.

Widget Gallery
We've created the Widget Gallery containing information, demos, documentation and more, which you can browse to explore the various widgets that are included in the Dojo Toolkit.

You can get the Dojo Toolkit directly from the open source project and you can also get Dojo included in our products - WebSphere Application Server Feature Pack for Web 2.0, Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software, Lotus Domino Server, and Lotus Domino Designer.

More about our Dojo work
Many companies and individuals contribute to the Dojo open source project. Check out the first installment of Design Gallery stories describing IBM's contributions.
